There is a scheduled/approved Northern Colorado Rocketry launch event on Sat, 3/3 at the North launch site. Weather pending….We have a GO for launch this Saturday, March 3rd, from the North Site. This launch will be for commercial motors only. Expect the range and waiver (20,000’ AGL) to be operational by 9 AM. NWS is predicting clear skies, with temps reaching the high forties but winds gathering strength as the day unfolds. Plan on flying early and often. Please note that the launching of rockets on NFS land is normally prohibited under a Forest Service Region 2 fire regulation. The issuance of NCR’s permit allows launches to take place for approved launch events only. All launches, other than those conducted during approved launch events, are prohibited by Forest Service regulations.
As always, volunteers are needed to help with range set up, operation and clean up.

Subject: NO GO 4 LAUNCH – RED FLAGS
Reply-To: Northern Colorado Rocketry <email@example.com>
Members and Friends,
STOP – NO GO for launch. We just got word from the Ranger that due to Red Flag conditions forecast for this weekend, we are going to require NCR to cancel this weekend’s scheduled launch. We thought there was a good chance the red flag conditions would stay south of Denver but we went into effect this morning and have to cancel the Rx Burn and launch. Conditions expected to remain over weekend. Sorry.
