North Site - Pawnee Grasslands
Sunday October 4th, 2026
Launch Summary
Range already set up. Glorious sunrise and a calmer day prevailed. Great to have another USFS Fire Crew on site for the peace of mind and help if we couldn't handle whatever happens. Some of the same fliers from Saturday. And nice to have the Moto-Joe motor cart on site. AWESOME DAY! Huge thanks to Jon Skuba, Bud Wood and Tim Fischer for help bringing in the rnage and trailer loading. I think I'm remembering that correctly.
Weather Conditions
Clear and calm. Just a slight breeze on the ground but winds aloft were moving around in lots of directions.
