NCR Club Launch - Oktoberfest Day Three 2011

Launch Summary

Day Three of planned regional event.  Range already set up and waiting for the weather to break.  No adjustments necessary to accomodate Research loads.  Slow start to another day on the prairie.  28 differenet flyers put up 50 flights - 32 Class One and 18 Class Two.   Notable flights include Mark Stumbaugh's entry into the Alphabet frey, Colin Apke's Doppler Shift on a K300 to 13,907' AGL, James Russell and the Civil Air Patrol's Valkyrie shot, Adrian Adamson's TRA L record shot and Dave Hanson's epic L3 Certification flight.
Motor usage as follows, flights listed randomly, and clusters or staged credited to the largest motor used.  A's=2, B's=7, C's=5, D's=1, E's=1, F's=8, G's=8, H's=3, I's=3, J's=2, K's=2, L's=2 M's=1 and Research loads =5.

Weather Conditions

Subdued sunrise and a grey above that promised to move out.  Took a little longer than expected but opened by noon with the last of the low clouds rolling out and clear blue skies above.   Waiver activated at noon: closed at five.  One window opened for Adrian's L1115 shot at the Tripoli altitude record.
