NCR Club Launch - May 2015

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled club launch - Pawnee Pioneer Open - only this time around no NAR Competition - just club flying.  Thanks to Jack Matthews for trailer tow out and range set up with help from David Pinter and Steve Jensen and Vic Davis and I'm not sure who else because I wasn't there yet.  Fun visit from Boy Scout Troop 78.  58 different flyers put up a total of 121 flights - 86 Class One and 35 Class Two.  Motor usage breaks down as follows, with staged or clustered flights credited to the largest motor used.  A's and under= 17, B's=15, C's=26, D's=5, E's=3, F's=8, G's=11, H's=13, I's=14, J's=3 and K's=5

Weather Conditions

Pretty good day on the prairie.  A bit of a breeze from the northwest but long moments of calm and mostly clear skies until early afternoon.   Evening campers were treated to a gusty wind front and a spit of rain but otherwise pretty calm and cool conditions prevailed.
