NCR Club Launch - Oktoberfest 2007 -Day 3

Launch Summary

Day three of a planned three day weekend celebrating Oktoberfest on the praiire - TRA Research Launch.  Range setup needed little modification.  12 flyers put up 19 flights and Neil Kinney did some static testing of his hybrid venture. 

Weather Conditions

Later start than originally planned to give the tail end of the wind and clouds a chance to clear the skies.  Cooler temperatures than the previous two mornings but warmed nicely.  Clear to partly cloudy skies, ceiling at about 7,000 feet.    High winds above 10,000'. Slowly put away the equipment as rockets were prepped and closed the waiver at three.  Huge thanks to Bruce Schaefer, Art Hoag, Justin Freeberg, David Tjarks and Neil Kinney for help with closing and cleaning the range and thanks to Troy Hummel for towing the trailer back to storage.  Another gorgeous Oktober day on the prairie.
