NCR Club Launch - Oktoberfest Day Four 2011

Launch Summary

Day Four of our regularly scheduled regional event.  Range already set.  Waiver at 8 AM to take advantaged of the beautiful weather.  15 flyers put up 41 flights before we shut down at 3:30 PM.  A day for the record books - notable flights include Randy Hughston's Firefox, Alphabet action, Bill Taylor's Rapscallion on the M795 Moonburner to 28,132' and the stunning lift off of Mark Lionberger and John Bixler's 3/4 Scale Nike Smoke on an "O".    Motor usage breaks down as follows, with staged and clusters credited to the largest motor used.  NO A's, B's=6, C's=3, NO D's, E's=1, F's=3, G's=6, H's=9, I's=3, J's=5, K's=2, L's=1, M's=1 and 1 Research motor.

Weather Conditions

Extra heavy dew disappeared quickly as the sun baked warmth spread out all over the prairie.  Clear skies above and just enough of a hidden breeze to be barely noticed.
