NCR Club Launch - High Skies in July 2014 Saturday

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled club launch.  Thanks to Mike Shinn for towing out.  42 flyers put up 95 flights - 55 Class One and 40 Class Two.  Notable flights include L1 for Peter Kwasniewski. and L2's for Dave Montgomery and Mark Jeffords.  Bob Messner un-officially shattered the TRA I record with a shot to 11,791, I 165 C-star contest saw more action and Matt Boyles used a "window' for an epic flight above 22K.  Flights are listed in a random order and motor usage breaks down as follows, with staged flights and clusters credited to the largest motor used.

Weather Conditions

Summer time on the prairie.  Not quite as green as last month but holding on.  Temps in the high 80's with just enough wind to keep the bugs away for most of the day.  Imposing clouds and threats of showers passed all around us in the afternoon but conditions stayed clear and dry.  Comfortable chill overnight for good sleeping conditions and a light dew Sunday morning.  You should have been there.
