MHM Day Three - June 2014

Launch Summary

Day Three - 41 different flyers put up 72 flights.  Motor usage as follows - A's=7, NO B's, C's=10, D's=1, E's=7, F's=4, G's=15, H's=9 I's=10, j's=2, K's=2, L's=1, M's=1 and 3 Research loads.  Notabel flights should include Alphabet Contest action from Kevin Osler - F and G sucessful flights.  NCR Jr. L1 flights by Max Haynes and Garrett Wood.

Weather Conditions

Weather started out like Saturday's - overcast and socked in.  Started to clear about 10 AM and one knew the weather was changing for the worse as we could watch the storms forming to the southeast.  Closed the waiver at one after a request from Denver ARTCC for a lower protected ceiling and then a Tornado warning.   Off the prairie by three, just ahead of torrential rains.  Thanks again to Jack Matthews for towing the equipment trailer and to everyone that helped with the launch exodus.
