Launch Summary
Regularly scheduled club launch. Thanks to Jack Matthews for towing out and to Ed Dawson for towing back. 33 different flyers put up a total of 114 flights - 80 Class 1 and 34 Class 2. Larry Haynes had the most flights with 9, followed closely by Dennis Billings, Jim Hinton, and Forrest Athearn - each with 8. TRA L1 Certs to Marlon Holmquist and Ted Agerton. Huge thanks to Boy Scout Troop 311 for an awesome job policing the area and collecting brass and trash. Lots of notable flights including Rick McDonald's Probie Lofter with the 1st successful mission of GI Joe and Special Ops Barbie. Flights are listed in a randomorder as they have been sorted and shuffled a few times. Motor usage breaks down as follows, with staged and clusters credited to the largest motor used. A's=9, B's=9, C's=16, D's=8, E's=15, F's=9, G's=14, H's=15, I's=11, J's=5 and K's=3.
Weather Conditions
Who would have believed it? Absolutely calm and clear and warmed rapidly to low 60's. Light breeze arrived in the afternoon as we were finishing for the day. Waiver opened at 9 AM.
