NCR Club Launch - September 2011

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled NCR TRA Research launch.  Range needed little modification from Saturday's set up.  Thanks to the Reilly's for towing the trailer to Ed's for the Equipment Cleanup prior to Oktoberfest.
20 different flyers put up 54 flights.  Randomly listed and motor breakdown as follows: A'=s 2, B's=2, C's=9, D's=8, NO E's or F's, G's=9, H's=12, I's=1, J's=4, K's=3 and 4 Research loads.

Weather Conditions

You had to have been there.  Whereas Saturday's weather was about the best rocket flying weather imaginable, Sunday's was even better.  That is, until about three PM when the thermals and wind kicked in - but we were about done by then anyway.  And the prairie moon was bright enough to read by Saturday night.  Should be about the same brightness for the  Oktoberfest weekend.
