Launch Summary

The last official club launch prior to the new ATFE regulations take effect and a lot of people were out using up the last of their motors. The beer boost showed some real feats of engineering as Seth Sinnema took home the prize with an impressive 8 minute duration successfule flight. This beat out the field of four other competetors who also scored some impressive times (See the contests page for the details).
John Wilke raised the Icarus bar another notch by turning in an 8,740' flight of his contender. Bob Messner scared the comptition when he returned an Icarus shot reading... and get this only 4 ' too high.... 9,004'. Too bad Bob. Eric Ellingont joined the ranks of igh power with his successful L1 certification flight.
