North Site - Pawnee Grasslands Saturday October 3rd, 2026 Launch Summary
October weekend as scheduled less Friday. Opening day for rifle season. Thanks to Max Haynes for range set up, and Scott Dukes and Bud Wood and I'm sure there were others. Great to be back at the North Site with all of our old friends and some new ones. Super warm fuzzy for having a USFS Fire Crew on hand to watch and enjoy our launch activities. 23 different fliers managed to put up 29 flights - 8 low power to 21 high power, including two M's.
Weather Conditions
Clear to partly cloudy most of the day with a growing intensity of wind. Waiver went from 8 to about 2 when the wind became unruly and consistently over 15mph.
