Launch Summary

Day 2 of our regularly scheduled regional event - Mile High Mayhem.  Typically the busiest launch day of the weekend. Range operations and waiver activation planned to begin at 8 AM.  Everything ready except the weather.  Cloud ceiling slowly lifted for Class One flights but waivered flights were scrubbed officially by 11 due to weather conditions on site and impacting surrounding area.  Still, 54 different flyers managed to loft 148 flights, all Class One.  Flights are listed in a random order as flight cards have been sorted and shuffled, eliminating any hope of an accurate progression or order of flights.  Motor usage breaks down as follows, with staged flights and clusters credited to the largest motor class used.  All A's=15, B's=32, C's=47, D's=15, E's=13, F's=6, G's=16 and H's=4.

Weather Conditions

Very overcast and misty conditions.  Intermittent rain showers and fog.  Cloud ceiling never really lifted and waiver was scrubbed officially for the day at 11.
