North Site - Pawnee Grasslands Sunday April 2nd, 2023 Launch Summary
Scheduled launch. Much appreciation to Scott Dukes for stepping up for LCO duties this morning, and yesterday afternoon. Range was ready and waiver at nine but wind was already growling.
Weather Conditions
Calm overnight Saturday but wind started creeping in and gaining strength. Clear skies but cloud cover was building. Caught in a juxtaposition of storm gatherings and false spring weather. Got too windy to enjoy. Waiver closed at noon while there were still enough folks on hand to make the clean up quick and easy. Thanks to ALL of our volunteer helpers and especially to Jack Matthews for once again being the equipment trailer tow man.
