Weather Conditions
Absolutely stunning weather for January. The range opened at 9 AM with Greeley/Weld County Airport reporting calm winds and clear to partly cloudy skies with a cloud layer at 12,000' - the waiver limit. Early hours warmed quickly to a probable high of 60 degrees before the temperatures began to decline and winds increased slightly thru the morning to reach brisk gusts of 10 to 12 mph before we closed the range at 3 PM, as planned. Winds were generally from the westnorthwest and helped keep the sky clear to partly cloudy all day.
