Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled launch.  Thanks to Ken Reilly for towing both ways and to Jon Skuba and crew for running the launch. 

From Jon's notes: 

We had the best weather in perhaps 2 years on Saturday.  The winds got to perhaps 15 mph for a few minutes late in the day.  The rest of the day ground winds probably didn't get over 5 mph very often and up high it was calm.  Everything was landing real close to the launch pad.  A couple of flights came back within 50 ft of their launch pads.
When I showed up at 8 am, there was only me, David Bishop, the Rileys (all asleep), and the Wilkes (all asleep).  David and I set up a few pads, the launch desks and went back to prepping.  All through the day, though, people kept showing up and, by midday, we had a pretty good crowd.  Here are the details:
92 flights by 36 fliers

Ron Coffee LCO'd 28 launches and I LCO'd the other 64.
I've got the box of launch cards, 2 trash buckets, your waiver file, and a check for $72 from Zach Crawford.
Attached you should find a spreadsheet with all the data entered roughly in reverse order.
Bear, Chad, David, and I all made progress in the Alpha Clone contest.  Dennis Billings biffed on his 3rd or 4th E flight.  I'm on my second H, still with no strikes.  I think Bear is in second on his second G but with a couple of strikes.

All launch events will be conducted using nationally approved/accepted range safety practices. The launching of rockets on NFS land is normally prohibited under a Forest Service Region 2 fire regulation. The issuance of NCR’s permit allows launches to take place by exempting the Holder from that regulation for approved launch events only. All launches, other than those conducted by the Holder during approved launch events, are outside the scope of this permit and are prohibited by Forest Service regulations.
