NCR Club Launch - May 2010

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled club launch and NAR Pawnee Pioneer Open.  Thanks to Mike Shinn for towing out and help setting the range.  Thanks also to Ed Wranosky, Art Hoag, David Bishop and everyone else that helped out or stuck around in the wind to get the contest in.  16 flyers put up a total of 56 flights, all Class One, and most of which were flown for contest points.  Flights are listed in a random order and Motor usage breaks down as follows: A's=11, B's=24, NO C's, 18 D's, 1 E and F's=2. 

Weather Conditions

WINDY.  Anticipated calm morning never materialized, with winds fairly constant in the 15 to 20 mph range.  Clear skies above and bright sunshine helped warm the air but the wind never relented.  Prairie greening up nicely.
