Launch Summary
Regardless of the wind, several people managed to log some shots. Bill Dixon's 3-staged Fatside made a flawless maiden flight. Chuck Watts boosted an 8 lb bowling ball to about 3,000 feet but the chute failed to open. Those in attendance now know what the insides of a bowling ball is made of... again. Cameron launched a cricket and grasshopper payload in his Penetrator - we had fun, but the insects refused to comment after the flight.
Weather Conditions
Sunny, warm, with steady winds 12 to 15 miles per hour.
