NCR Club Launch - April 2012

Launch Summary

So great to be back out to the North Site, even if only for a half day.  Thanks to Ken Reilly for towing both ways.  16 different flyers put up 38 flights.  Motor usage breaks down as follows:  A's=0, B's=1, C's=4, D's=0, E's=5, F's=7, G's=5, H's=9, I's=4 and J's=3.  That's 22 Class One and 16 Class Two.  Notable flights should include L1 TRA Cert for Craig Joy, a Jr. Junior NAR L1 Cert for Max Haynes,  Mike Hacker's 100th flight with NCR, and the cluster flights by Scott Corliss and his Quad Runner.

Weather Conditions

Finally a break from the weather, at least until about 1 PM when the wind shifted, the windchill set in and the badly needed rain threatened to fall.  Looming storm clouds, big winds, and a serious threat in the return of winter had us close the waiver at 1:30 PM.
