Launch Summary
Regularly scheduled club launch. Thanks to Mike Shinn for towing out and helping the usual characters with range set up. Also thanks to john Nelson for the use of his launch pads. 30 different flyers put up 83 flights. Notable flights include Mark Lionberger's staged I284 to H180 Terrier BBX, Les Wade and Mike Huber's L2 Cert flights, 3 glider carrier Deltie Airshow from Russ Penner, Rod Harris' Soyus and Alphabet action from Jon Skuba, Dave Bishop and Barry Friedrichs. Mike Estes had the most flights with 8 for the day. Flights are listed in a random, shuffled order. Motor usage breaks down as follows, with staged and clusters credited to the largest motor used. A's=1, B's=4, C's=8, D's=5, E's=8, F's=5, G's=19, H's=14, I's=13, J's=2 and K's=4
Weather Conditions
You had to be there to enjoy it. Cyrstal clear skies, with just enough puffs of wind to keep the bugs away. Optimal conditions aloft and on the ground. Maybe the best day ever for flying rockets on the prairie.
