NCR Club Launch - March 2013

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled club launch.  Thanks to Bear for towing both ways and to Jon Skuba for being Launch Director and coordinating the waiver in my absence.  32 different flyers put up 62 flights (44 Class One and 18 Class Two). I wasn't there but was told there were several notable flights including two L2 Certifications - David Pinter and Scott Barbarick. Some Alphabet flights from Bear and Chad, Rick McDonald flew an Upscaled Probie Lofter w "Baby on Board", Roxana Safipour staged J's and Eric James and the CU Aerospace Engineering Team passed 10K.  Flights are listed in a random order for obvious reasons and motor usage breaks down as follows, with staged or clusters credited to the largest motor used.  a's=1, B's=3, C's=9, D's=5, E's=12, F's=6, G's=8, H's=5, I's=5, J's=6, K's=1 and L's=1.

Weather Conditions

I wasn't there - spent the whole day indoors - but was told it was a pretty great day for early March.  Calmy winds and clear skies, for the most part, but lots of snow and mud all around made for gooey walking.  Apparently winds aloft were a little dicey as two birds are reported MIA.
