Atlas Site - Pawnee Grasslands Saturday March 7th, 2020 Launch Summary
Another epic day of the Pawnee National Grassland. Clear skies, calm winds and temperatures may have reached in to the low seventies. 45 different fliers put up a total of 95 flights (60 Class One, 35 Class Two). Thanks to Jack Matthews for towing both ways and for range set up, with the help of CSU students and others. 7 L1 Certs, 1 L2 Cert. An awesome static motor test and a visit from the Spaced Out TARC Team. Several "2020" contest flights and an oddroc Coleman Camp Stove that flew rail straight. Waiver from 9 AM till 4 PM - spectacular flying conditions through out the day. Way to go LCO's Brian Houghton and Joe.
