Launch Summary

We missed the Ides of March by one day, but did not escape the winds of March. People had long walks to retrieve rockets like Jon Skuba's Little John that touched down 2-miles north of the pad. John Wilke made an Icarus attempt with his Contender, but DQ'ed with an altitude of 9769'. The wind took hold of some log entries, even after Art Hoag made a gallant save of one page, some still had to be recreated from collective memory.

Weather Conditions

Not so good, steady winds 12-18 miles per hour. Strong gusty winds throughout the day making wind chill temps drop.
