NCR Club Launch - MHM 2012 - Day One

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled Club Launch on Steroids.  The later than usual GO notice to membership, with the very real possibility of Fire Bans and the forecasted windy conditions probably kept many flyers away.  In spite of all that, a great weekend.  Huge thanks to Mike Shinn for towing both ways and invaluable assistance in setting and closing the range. Praise and Thanks giving to ALL volunteers that helped with range set up, operations and cleanup - your help is often overlooked but is greatly appreciated by all.

Weather Conditions

Windy.  In fact, too windy to really even consider flying anything but bricks.  Reasonable temps but the threat of rain in the afternoon had folks wondering what sort of weekend we were about to experience.
