NCR Club Launch - Oktoberfest Day One 2011

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled regional event.  Thanks to Deb and Dennis Billings for towing out the equipment trailer.  Thanks to Dennis and Mike Shinn for range set up.  20 flyers put up 48 flights - 19 Class One and 29 Class Two.  Mike Hacker and Ian MacDonald each led the way with five.  Notable flights have to include Rich Wallner's L1 Cert and Jordan Russell's L2 Cert, Rick McDonald's Probie Lofter with a GI Joe parachuter on board, Al Zelenak's longburn K261 tower shot, Dennis Billings' Time Bandit to 10,115 and more Alphabet Clone action.  Flights are listed in random order and motor usage breaks down as follows, with staged and/or clustered flights credited to the largest motor used.  No A's, 1 B, 2 C's, 2 D's, 2 E's, 1 F, 11 G's, 13 H's, 6, I's, 7 J's, 2 K's and 1 L.

Weather Conditions

Awesome day on the prairie.  Slight cool breeze and plenty of sunshine.  Warm to almost hot.  Clear skies until after sunset.   Wind picked up after dark and one knew a ugly day was coming.
