Launch Summary

Extra day added to High Skies in July launch to make up for wash out of Mile High Mayhem.  Thanks to Jon Skuba for towing out the equipment trailer and to Steve Jensen for huge assistance in setting the range.  25 different flyers put up a total of 58 flights - 37 Class One and 21 Class Two.   A's=3, NO B's, C's=10, D's=10, E's=2, F's=5, G's=7, H's=6, I's=9 J's=1 and 5 Research loads.  Nice to see the Yehle family from Utah.

Weather Conditions

Gorgeous day on the prairie - clear skies and calm winds.  Massive electrical storm with big wind and hail/rain rolled thru before midnight and quickly passed.

All launch events will be conducted using nationally approved/accepted range safety practices. The launching of rockets on NFS land is normally prohibited under a Forest Service Region 2 fire regulation. The issuance of NCR’s permit allows launches to take place by exempting the Holder from that regulation for approved launch events only. All launches, other than those conducted by the Holder during approved launch events, are outside the scope of this permit and are prohibited by Forest Service regulations.
