North Site - Pawnee Grasslands Sunday August 6th, 2023 Launch Summary
A quiet Sunday on the prairie. Slow to start but waiver at 9AM and a few great flights. Huge thanks to Mark Lionberger, Rich Wallner, Scott Evans, Ken Reilly, Paul Fechtmeister, Vic Davis, Max Haynes, Charlie Everitt and everyone else that helped put the range away so Joe could tow the equipment trailer out of there before the afternoon thundershowers arrived.
Weather Conditions
Glorious sunrise and clear skies became partly cloudy and cooler than Saturday. Still, Colorado ble skies prevailed until about two o'clock. Threat of another afternoon thundershower encouraged an earlier closure. Slowed rocketry activity helped.
