North Site - Pawnee National Grasslands

Launch Summary
Regularly scheduled club launch. Thanks to John Nelson for towing both ways, to Mike Shinn for amazing chili, and to everyone that helped with the set up, fire suppression and clean up. 13 flyers put up 17 flights before operations were suspended and then cancelled. Fire on the range from an errant recovery claimed 65 acres.
Weather Conditions
Wonderful November weather to start with. Winds out of the northnorthwest 5 to 7 mph. Temps rose quickly, probably reaching into the 50's while the winds squirred around eventually blowing out of the south.
