Launch Summary
Regularly scheduled Regional club launch - Mile High Mayhem. NCR's Spring fling on the praiire. Check your favorite weather forecast for details but club members made the effort to set the range and waited for the winds to abate and the temps to rise. No cloud cover Friday night made for an abnormally cold evening and cold night temperatures before the wind finally decided to lay down and die.
Weather Conditions
Blown out!!! Abnormal weather across the Rocky Mountain region brought about winds in the sustained velocity of fifty miles an hour and gusts up to ninety miles an hour. Anticipated range set up on Thursday night never materialized due to un-natural winds and unexpected cold. Waiver activation calls were made at 7 AM, basically putting everything on hold till noon when the calls were made to completely scrub and wait till Saturday morning.
