NCR Club Launch - December 2012

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled launch.  Thanks to Mike Shinn for towing both ways and to Jack Matthews and Mark Jeffrods for helping Mike set the range.  Waiver from 9 AM to 3 PM.  25 different flyers put up 57 flights, 31 Class One and 26 Class Two.  Notable flights include Jeremy Long's NAR L1 Cert and Scott Corliss' TRA L2 flights.  Max Haynes led the field with 7 flights.  Motor usage break downs as folows, with staged flights and clusters credited to the largest motor used.  Sequence of events is skewed as cards have been shuffled and sorted.   Thanks also go to Nate and his crew from the Forest Service for their visit and Fire Safety pressence for a great day on the range.  1/2 A's= 1, No A's or B's, C's=2, D's=5, E's=4, F's=8, G's=11, H's=11, I's=6, J's=8, No K's and 1 L.

Weather Conditions

Clear and crisp December skies.  High, pathcy clouds and a slight breeze from the west northwest that gradually shifted around the compass and died down.  Weather forecast was spot on with temperature predictions - up into the 60's but wrong about the strong winds.  Really rather a glorious day on the range for a December day.  Waiver and range opened at nine and closed at three.
