After some soul searching, I have decided to try my L3 cert with my 4 ” sustainer instead of the 6″ stretched booster. Sims to about 18k and per NAR regs will be backed up the wazoo. Wondering if anyone has a watson or similar they will loan me as I’m just too broke to buy the GPS unit I have had my eyes on.

You’re wecome to use mine after my flight(s). I plan on doing mine on Friday but it will depend on the weather.

Super, and I am flexible re flight times. So if you’re a beef eating kind of guy, let me buy you and your traveling companions a nice steak dinner. This just took a load of worry off me.

PS: built into the cone is a 2.5 inch x 14 payload section, assume thats plenty big. I have LiPoly 7.2 and MH 8.4 transistor sized batteries.Thats the good news, bad is I have a “control”, but on your advice bought a g-wiz mc! 🙂

That should make an interesting flight, especially with how hard loki motors hit 🙂
You trying to make sure it goes higher one staged than it will with a booster?

Yea, as you know Chris I worked hard on making that sustainer strong. Got to thinking if all goes well at MHM, nice to know it can handle the velocities we anticipate at LDRS. Plus its just such a more balls out flight 😀
Flip side is losing it, but with Doug’s offer, we’ll get it back. Turn around time for the two stager will be less as well as the booster can now be pre-configured. Make sense? Not what we talked about, I know, but a reasonable plan I think. Any chance Nate can get you out there fri afternoon?

I don’t know – If I could get out there, I would.
If there’s any possible way for me to get out there on friday, I could pack the rocket junk before I leave, and then just come up however I could. If it was up to me, I’d skip school, but I can’t 🙁
I’d love to come up if I could, though.

Hmmm, there must be some rare medical condition that specifically calls for sunshine and low concentration APCP (HCl acid) fumes as treatment
