Anyone out there have an AT 75mm 5120 or 6400 case? Need it potentially for an L3 attempt at Hartsel 7/22.
Thanks,

John, not sure what Jim Amos may have in AMW inventory… he also rents hardware, or at least used to. AMW has some wonderful 75mm loads. Might be worth a look?

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll drop Jim a note. I like the amw smoke trails a lot better anyway. Warren, I’ll let you know if I hit paydirt with Jim.

Doug GerrardParticipantSorry John, I won’t be there for the July launch or you could use mine. If you’re willing to wait until Oktoberfest…

Warren,
Got a reload from Jim on hold. Go for the 22nd!Let me know where and when tro pick up, obviously the usual replacement policy is in effect, thanks man.
JThanks doug, on a bit of a timetable here–need the l3 before balls so i can finally get the 2 stage project off!
BTW, enjoyed talking at ldrs and jazzed about the camera. Gonna try to fly the 2 stager on an L-k combo at Oktoberfest with camera on the sustainer. One issue is the sustainer is 4 and the booster 6, so won’t get a straight on of separation.

Tim,
I may take you up on that, but the big issue is the NAR L3 rules: rocket must sim at less than 90percent of waiver, with the extra 700N-s I am pushing very close to the actual waiver, reckon I can add ballast to the nosecone in the form of a small cat….
Let me think about it and I’ll get back to you.

Doug GerrardParticipantI think that NAR rules says something about live payloads being vertebra…

Doug,
You may have overlooked the trailer which states that in the case of serious scientific impetus, any animal whose life on the planet makes humans miserable and which may also have extraordinary capabilities deserving of further investigation, can be exempted. Well we all have herad cats falling from 20 story buildings. Rocksim says sheba ain’t reached terminal velocity, so I propose tossing her from a 200 stories.
JPS: Between me and my partner, we have 4 well fed and happy felines.
