I have been making my chutes. Have purchased a few. I have not been
able to find the good shroud line that came in purchased chutes.
Where can it be purchased?
Iv’e tried hardware and sewing spots.
I make my own parachutes as well, and one of the best cords for smaller chutes is Kite string. Not your normal stuff, but the kind used for stunt kites, sometimes hobby town has it, but it is available on the web. Also you can get Kevlar but its expensive. Try these sites:

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
