Murdock
I didn’t see a new members area, so I figure this was the most appropriate forum.
My name is Chris Murdock, I’m a B.A.R. and a hobbyist photographer. I plan on attending the research launch on the 19th and am looking forward to seeing some high power stuff go off. I’ve seen videos, but the biggest I’ve seen person is an E30. I’m also excited about the change to good some good launch shots and working on my rocket photography technique.
I plan on attending O’fest and participating in the SSS if my kit survives its other launches.
My most recent rocket project can be seen here http://www.neuroticape.com/
along with some other photos and links to my other sites.I’d like to thank Denverdoc (John) for directing me towards NCR and NAR, I eventually plan on getting my level 1 cert.
I’m very open to suggestions on kits I’m doing, photographs or anything else in general. So if you have any, feel free to share.
Thanks.

Welcome to the club. I like retro rockets and love your build of the Curious Rocket. Look forward to meeting you at Oktoberfest.

Jeffrey Joe HintonModeratorGreetings and salutations. Whenever you’re ready to try your hand at certification, there are lots of NAR members in NCR (Section 565) ready to help. And I know the editors/publishers of all of the Rocketry magazines are always looking for good photos and stories.

Welcome! We fly EVERYTHING, so you’ve come to the right club. We have a number of photographers in the club. Nadine Kinney, a professional photog–you’ve had to have seen her work, comes to each of our two biggest launches. Ray LaPanse takes beautiful photographs, and I’d be sure he’d help you with some suggestions. Again, WELCOME!

Warren B. MusselmanModeratorDon’t avoid checking out Tripoli in preference to NAR… There are lots of larger motors going on as NCR is largely a high power club except for the kids… Feel free to email me or anyone else and folks will be glad to help you out.

ParticipantWelcome,
The bug will get you if you hang around here much. The big ones just start calling your name….. I’m hoping to have a SSS too, see you there….July 14, 2008 at 9:24 pm #48499slipstick
Welcome. I think you’ll find that NCR will meet your high power and NAR contesting needs, plus you’ll meet a lot of great rocketeers that are very helpful.
