We got new street pavement on our street. WEEEee 😀
When they filled the steam roller, They shut the hydrant down
too quick. It caused a, “pressure hammer” in the water pipes
and popped My pressure protection valve on My hot water
heater.
My house is old and has no drain. It ran for two to three hours.
Putting 2″ of water in My rocket room and My Wifes craft room.
😯 😈 ➡ 🙄 😯 ❗
Last week. Getting ready for a larger project I am working on. I
changed My room to accomodate the project. Moved many hundreds
of dollars of ‘stuff’ onto shelves, and into another room. If I had not done that. It would have been a dreadful day.
All the carpet is up. All the water gone.
I managed to get My Wifes room all out before too much damage
happened. She scrap books. So some paper and small items were
damaged. But not much.
Some air-frames gone. MM tubes gone. Two 8″ X30″ air-frames gone.
Two spare computers probably damaged. 😥 But for the most part
all is well.
We will probably get something from the “Street & Alley” but
it will take some time. The Guy filling the roller admitted He
had done it pretty quick.
I will be running the PP Valve pipe into the washer drain to solve
the problem. If it ever happens again.
😀
