Built in America, for America!
I love seeing those on the highway loaded up in the trucks…. makes my little saturn sedan seem like a hotwheels
If it’s for a Vestas wind turbine, they make those up in Windsor. They are why the price of balsa is going up! They are opening up a new plant for the nacelle (hub/generator stuff) in Brighton soon. My friend just got hired there. Seems like they are growing and hiring big right now, in case people are looking for jobs.

Great!
Now the speculators are gona have a run on Balsa and wind! 🙁
I always watch the wind farms hoping to see one of those go flying off the turbine…… 😛 Now THAT would be cool to see. 😈
I wonder if they are dual or single deploy.
I got stuck for 15 minutes yesterday in Ft. Collins. Waitin for T Boone Pickens slow train too the wind farm to get out of the way. 🙄 Musta been 30-40 blades on that train.
Theres your future Greg, You and T Boone.
Oh and I told you So!
Anyone on the forum work at Vestas or know someone there?
They are one of the few local companies hiring these days.
I have a good friend who just started there a couple months ago. Not many openings there for what I do, but I’d be happy to put resumes in through him. He sits near the HR person. I hear they pay well, too. Dig through their online careers section and let me know if you want me to put you in touch.

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
