Just wanted to stir some excitement about the last launch at the North Site for the year and see who all will be there, what will you be flying?

If everything goes according to plan, Forever Ugly flies again – this time on a J135. If my plan has problems, it might just fly again anyway.
I’ll be there… possibly flying an L1300 in my 4″ bird.
Warren
I will be there. one-j one-h one i?? and a few gs
We will see how the day goes.
I’ll be there. Maybe someone will let me LCO 😉 I was going to fly an SSSS but decided it was a bit of a hassle to ship stuff, as I’m flying out to Denver vs. driving.
I’ll be there. Hoping to fly a G80, J350, and J570. An H268 is on the injured-reserve list.
John, Bring a bird (sans motor) in your checked luggage. A hard sided gun case would be perfect to check. They would even inspect it at the counter. We’ll get you flying!
Finally going to fly Phrixus for my L1 attempt on an H123 on Saturday. 😀
Change of plans – Forever Ugly will go on a J275 instead.
Too much going on this weekend, so we won’t be up this time. Scott was bummed, as he was hoping to burn a bunch of motors and gain in his standings for most flights of the year (#7 right now).
Warren or Joe, can you pull the Wacky Wiggler from the trailer and bring it home? I’ll get with whoever next week to pick it up.
Thanks,
Ken
Looks like I’m finally gonna make it back to a launch – fall baseball is over for the kids and Scouts is mellow right now – and my wife actually ASKED to come!!!!! (I’m still in shock 😉 )
I need a motor tho. Going to fly my finally built Firestorm 54 from Tim. Want to fly it on an H and maybe then an I if I get it back. I’m talking a 38mm Aerotech reload – sorrt, forget the length, is there something that is kind of “standard”?
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
