Are we going to have any verndors onsite that I will be able to buy a L1 motor from?
Tim will be there from giant leap. He has tons of motors
I have sent Tim several emails and a pm without any response.
Wasn’t sure if he was still around.
Tim will get back with You. He is a busy man. He is a good man.
MHM Vendors- confirmed that Photos by Nadine and her sister’s kitchen will be on site. Tim with Giant Leap will definately be on site. I’d expect Bryan with The Rocketr Garden to be there Friday and Saturday but haven’t heard a confirm back. CoolRocketStuff will be there with Road Runners and maybe more – waiting on confirm there. Extreme Rocketry and Rockets Magazine will have a pressence on site. Come prepared to stimulate the economy!!
New Vendors — My kids are looking at opening up a motor case cleaning station. I’m sure they will post something soon, but the rumors I heard were that you would get a free lemonade with every case cleaned!
The stand will be open Friday afternoon and evening as well as Saturday.
They will surely have MY business, Ed! I dislike cleaning cases…. I used to pay Dale’s kids to clean ’em. Great idea!
Hey! They should open up Sunday afternoon too! I will put em’ to work!
I’m sure he’ll get back to you. I’m doing my L1 at this year’s MHM as well. If it helps, I know from exchanging messages a couple weeks ago that he’ll have AT H128s and H238s, as well as CTI H225s and H400s. He was very magnanimous, and offered to lend casings too. I’m sure he’ll have what you’re looking for. I’ve got a RouseTech 29/180 case you could borrow as well, if that’ll fit what you’ve got planned.
I guess I just need patience. I have been trying to get ahold of him since mid January. The rocket I am about done with is the pml miranda with the 29/38/54mm quickswitch. I was looking to go with a 38mm H motor for my L1 flight.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
