MikeSModeratorWho is flying what?
I am going to launch My Nebulon Warrior , My Hi-Tech, and
One I call Cheyenne. Staying under 3000′ because of probable
clouds. One motor this time on the NW. H180 or so. (Rebuilt/Repaired)
G? for the Hi-Tech. (Same Old Reliable)
H350SS for the Cheyenne. (New Paint)This will be My first weekend off the weekend shift for five weeks.
Glad to be free again.Just got My 1970 Dodge D100 on the road again. Hope to help
tow the trailer sometime later in the summer. It’s one beat up
farm truck. But I love it.Hope to see many saturday.
Thanks Mike

Sounds great, Mike! Is anyone going to compete in the Pawnee Regional (or Open, if we can’t get 5 total NCR members)? Just curious and wondering…

I might continue through the alphabet – I need to grovel and find an F and G rocket. I’m good H-and-up.

MikeSModeratorI have a basic rocket (ODYSSEY). 3″ neon orange. 29mm w/retention.
Goes great on F and G.Because of Doug and Arts ODYSSEY, I was going to retire
the rocket. This would be a great set of last flights.I will bring….If needed You sure can use.

Mike, if I can make it out I’ll take you up on that generous offer! I feel a bit like a bum in that I have borrowed so many rockets thus far. I’ll make it up to anyone who needs an H, I, J, K, or L rocket (assuming I don’t crash them first!)
Mayhaps I’ll call my next rocket “Panhandler” 8)
BTW, I’m probably going to fly my I with a full I in a tiny rocket, so I will be pushing the envelope some. The L will be a very aggressive flight, and I’m going to try to fly my minimum diameter “M” if I get that far… All of which doesn’t matter, because Art will beat me with an N anyway 😳
Given my rocky start I may not get very far, but it is fun to try.

Hey, Is anybody up for towing the trailer from Pierce to the North site?
I think I should be able to bring it back.

If nobody’s stepped up yet, I can do it. Email me by Friday at 6pm or let me know here if my services are needed.

ParticipantJohn,
Jeremiah will have the Sumo with him on Saturday.
If you crash it, it won’t bother me one single bit……May 1, 2009 at 2:34 pm #50431
Jeffrey Joe HintonModeratorKen – PM sent. Yes, we are still going to try and get this launch in. Hard to say which 50% chance of rain will show up. High Power waiver starts at nine, depending on cloud cover and everything else. Springtime on the Prairie. Just thinking about it, this weekend was originally scheduled to be MHM.
