NCR picked up another 3576 points! Both Reed and I won our divisions. For all the bad luck we had, it turned out our fellow competitors had slightly worse luck. We left before Sunday’s B-altitude launch so the Alamogordo crew flew both our rockets by proxy, which ended up getting the highest altitude in the A and C division. They are standup rocketeers, for without their help, we wouldn’t have finished 1st. Thank you James and Mark.
Reed was down to 4th in the National Standings, but will now bubble back up to the top spot with an awsome 7737 points overall. I had drifted down to 11th overall as the other clubs had completed and submitted their 4 regionals, so after CARCIS XVII and this regional are submited (assuming no more clubs report in) I’ll be in 3rd place overall with 6546 points. This will help going into NARAM-51. Unfortunately, Reed will be unable to make it as his dad won a trip to France through work and Reed will be doing football at that time. Otherwise he was on course to winning a National trophy. (ball sports can really suck the brains out of kids). 🙄

Congrats to Sawyer Miller for settting a new F SuperRoc altitude record (which didn’t exist yet in the A division). His bird was 309 cm in length, and climbed to 333 m altitude for 102,897 points. Sawyer will be in the B division for the next contest year. 8)
