Anyone with electronics projects on their mind might be interested in this. There’s been some Arduino talk of late, and this place has the base boards for that, and Ardupilot, plus a bunch of sensors and other fun stuff. Essentially, the first $100 is Free! that day, at least until they hit their 100k cap. It’s a Boulder based company, so if you like supporting local businesses, then there’s a double-bonus.
Wow, $100k; that’s a big deal. Good for them.
Yes, I heard about this free day at Sparkfun.
Now we just need to get Aerotech, Cesaroni, Loki, RoadRunner, Giant Leap, Wildman, Cool Rockets, 3 Dogs, Al’s, Quest, Estes, Binder, LOC, Hawk Mountain, Performance Hobbies, Performance Rocketry………and so on….
to do the same and we would be set!
All kidding aside, it is a very generous offer and I plan on being one of the many that clog up their server that morning.
Damn – don’t broadcast this or they’ll have used up the $100K worth of free credit before the website is open even 2 minutes. I’ve already got my list and setup and ready to go.
New Arduino Mega for me!
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
