It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. Shutting down Extreme Rocketry has been a very emotional thing for me to do and I think as a result I sort of pulled away from rocketry for a while.
anyway, I’d like to attend a few launches over the summer and perhaps fly a little bit, but wanted to give everyone a heads up on my legal name change. a few of you know that I’ve legally changed my name and know that for the last nine years I’ve gone by the nick name of ‘Seven’. what most of you don’t know is that a few years ago I had a major falling out with my family–to the extent to which I no longer wish to be associated with the family name. so, I legally changed both my first and last name.
the new legal name is Seven Grey. I hope that you can all respect this personal decision. I’d very much like to attend upcoming launches and I realize it may be difficult for some of you to make the switch to calling me by my new legal name, but figured I had better give everyone a heads up on the change (I’ve registered here on the site under my new name with which I’ll be making future posts).
Prior legal name: Brent McNeely
New legal name: Seven Grey
Welcome
Seven,
Hope to see you on the range this summer!
Ed
Seven is such a cool name! Good choice!
Seven, I have been thinking about you for some time, I hope things are getting better, I new things were pretty rough there for a while.
I would love to take with you again some time, maybe lunch. All of my contact info is the same. Hope to talk to you soon.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
