All,
The Spring equipment cleaning day is this Sunday at my place south of Longmont. We will start at about 9:00 and should be done by noon. Coffee and bagels to be provided. (Maybe even a beer or too if the occaision presents itself)
There is plenty of parking in the side pasture west of the driveway and house. Like before, we will be back by the barn.
Let me know if you can make it (or if you need directions).
While I haven’t missed a cleanup party since 2004, I may miss this Sunday. My wife had surgery last week and can’t drive until she sees the surgeon on Friday. IF she can drive to work the following Monday, I will be at the party. Otherwise, I have to go to Grand Junction to work over the weekend. It is up in the air until Friday.

Plane leaves at 10:45 tomorrow!!
Incidentally, Sean S will also be viewing the launch. NASA, in a stroke of insensitivity, won’t let Sean OR I LCO. Drat.
I wonder if there really IS a button that actually gets pushed to light a candle like that? Or are computers handling it right now? The countdown is underway as we speak…
Maybe since you’re just a noob to them, you can get basic “pad manager” duties? 😛

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
