Adrian, I read on Rocketry Forum of your acceptance of a job position at Moon Express in California. I hope it is very good for you and I hope you will come back here frequently to fly with us. You will be missed!
BEAR
Thanks, Bear. Yes, I am taking a job at Moon Express in Mountain View, CA, and relocating the family out there. This is just too interesting an opportunity to pass up. But I hope to come back to Colorado in a few years, because it’s my home. I’ll miss flying with you guys at the great launch sites out here. Not many other places are such a good spot for rocketry as this, and fewer still have such an active and helpful club.
Featherweight Altimeters will continue while I’m out there. I’ll post updates on the Featherweight site when I know it will be a few days before I can get a shipment out.
Wow… congratulations Adrian. Damn it all, I was just about to ask you to jump in and consult on a project with Mark Stumbaugh and I on a 100K N project. When are you moving?
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
