Thanks to Bear’s most excellent instructions (and Google Maps/Earth) – I’m confident I can get the trailer out to the site on Saturday (8 AM early enough?). Depending on my stamina (and wifey’s patience), I may or may not be able to tow it back. Any volunteers for back up?
I assume the hitch is either unlocked of the key is ‘hidden’ in an obvious place. If not, someone PM me the particulars.
See y’all out there – I’ve got a few stale grains to burn… 😀
Jack,
PM me your email, I can send some addtional directions and instructions.
8:00 is pretty early, we usually don’t get a crew onsite to help set up until 8:30-8:45ish
I think I’ll be able to tow back on Saturday.
Ed
If Ed can’t tow back, I probably can. Haven’t ever tried using Vanna that way but I’m pretty sure she’s up to the task.
I can tow back if need be.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
