Howdy to all. been a long time since a post. Thanks to all for your imput and comments, etc. Thanks to Joe for all that you do, and have done…
Hoping for a good year, we may get lucky and receive some moisture soon. But so far forecasts into the next few weeks looks dry. Just have to wait and see, maybe things will improve somewhat weatherwise. Could not make Jan. meeting, other comits. May get out to launch a few birds in Feb. and March at Atlas. Maybe see some old faces again, & some new… Blues skies and some moisture. Ken S.
Ken,
Good to hear from you…and yes, the forums have been kind of quiet lately.
I look forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming launches. Hopefully 2013 will provide a much better flying season than last year!
Ken, Glad you are back in action!
Hope all is well. Say Hi to Warren for me.
Hope to see you at the Atlas sight tomorrow.
If it is too windy to shoot rockets we can shoot the sh*t. 😀
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
