Hi guys, I would like to pull the trailer to and from the launch next Saturday, if that is OK. I have not been very useful lately and would like to attempt to redeem myself. It is easy to do because, like Mike Shinn, I drive right by the trailer parking site on my way to the Atlas site. I am going to plan on doing it until told otherwise.
BEAR
Thanks Bear!
I appreciate proactive volunteering!
No problems, Ed. It is my pleasure.
What Mr. Ed said. If the weather cooperates, we’ll plan on flying from about 9 AM till about 4PM or thereabouts, depending on interest, motors and the weather, and that should allow enough time to put stuff away before the dark and cold takes over.
Just found out I do not have to work till noon Saturday.
See ya all there.
Weather looking really nice – waiver has been called in – Saturday should be awesome! Figuring we’ll need four low power and probably four high power and adjust accordingly from there. I’m bringing the PA – thinking we might need it. I know we’ll need help with the LCO and RSO duties. See you out there.
Since I did not fly last year, I have to make up for lost flying time. So, I will be happy to help with LCO/RSO duties after I get my first 30 or 40 flights in. 😆
Brin Extra motors Joe, Time to burn some fuel!!! Cherise is going for her Level 1 and at least one of the two boys are coming. I have many rockets that have yet to get more than the height of my truck off th ground.
I don’t have a lot prepped, So I will be glad to help out where ever needed.
Bear, Thanks for towing ❗
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
