ModeratorCheck the calendar – NCR won’t be hosting Mile High Mayhem this year. We’ve been asked to help with NSL in Pueblo – equipment and personnel. But we will be flying the first weekend of May – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 3rd, 4th and 5th of May. Friday is National Space Day! Saturday is Saturday and Sunday is Cinco de Mayo! Please plan accordingly.
A Raffle will be happening to support the cost of bringing out Port-a-Potties and to help re-build the club bank account after a much delayed and viscious hit by Uncle Sam.
No registration required, camping allowed, and plenty of air space to be used. Got a special project? Let us know about it.

ModeratorI know due to the lack of launches, the club bank account must be near zero.
I would still like to pay $10.00 for the May launch. (Pretend MHM Registration) to go into the general fund.
And buy a few raffle tickets at the launch.
I think the NCR Treasurer address is 11859 Quail Road Longmont
Colorado 80501. Please confirm for Me Joe. ThanksI would like to see others join in.
I also will be available for towing and set-up Thursday (if someone
is spending the night) or Friday morning.A reminder to Joe. I have the fence posts.
Also can one imagine the impact on the vendors not having launches.
Last year sucked!
May could be one of just a few launches all year. Fly like hell and buy
more.April 10, 2013 at 5:32 pm #56481Jeffrey Joe Hinton
ModeratorThanks Mike. Correct address. Thursday set up and camping. I remembered about the fence posts, sort of.
The drought continues, believe it or not even with the recent Spring storm, and the spit of rain overnight last Saturday. Could very well be a shortened flying season again.

what’s the procedure to get into the volunteer cue for the Pueblo gig?

ParticipantAs Joe said we took a big hit in the pocket book. We are still in fair shape and will be fine barring any more major setbacks.
When launches get canceled we don’t make any money but we don’t spend any either. It will just take longer to get back to where we want to be.
The best ways to support NCR fiscally is to keep your membership current, buy lots of raffle tickets when ever possible and support the local vendors that support NCR.
For anyone looking to join or renew the address that Mike posted is correct, it is also listed on page 2 of the registration form that can be downloaded from this website and you can e-mail me at the address on the contact us section of this website.

Participantfor flying and another $10 in raffles!
Looking forward to the mini-Mayhem. Hope it’s a go. More rain is wanted. Last week’s launch looked pretty un-green to say the least.

ModeratorHave to work on Thursday, but planning on hooking up the camp trailer, coming out late on Thursday, and staying for the duration. I can do the return tow on Sunday, if needed.

Moderator17″ of new snow here at the house (west Ft. Collins) in the last three days,,, and still coming down. Potential for more next Monday. Could we be facing the opposite of what we feared? Too wet?

ParticipantNot sure what to expect at this point. Down here in the southern part of Denver we haven’t seen dry ground in a couple of weeks. Good for flying but tough if you are trying to finish building a parking lot 😕
