BEAR
I can bring the trailer out Saturday morning, if this will help launch rockets; by 8:30am. I hope to fly my big Intimidator a couple of times and maybe launch for my L3 cert, if TAPS are present and my first flight(s) are successful.

ParticipantI plan on being there.
Thanks for towing.

ModeratorTrailer is actually in Boulder, making it’s way back from Pueblo. However, the club tables and all of fire extinguishers are all in the storage container behind the sheds at the Darrington’s and will need retrieval. Let me know. Should be a good weekend weather wise – I’ll be posting the GO Notice soon.

Joe, I would be happy to pick the tables and other things up, but I will not have room inside my truck. I will be happy to bring it if we can figure another solution that works for both of us.

ModeratorJoe,
I’ll be there Sunday and can help with RSO/LCO, as well as take some 7.5″ tubes off your hands.

ModeratorIn the middle of moving ‘stuff’ into our recently finished basement this weekend,,, so wasn’t planning on coming out, but if needed I can make a quick trip out Saturday morning, throw those tables and fire extinguishers in the bed of the pickup and deliver to the North site. Otherwise I’ll be moving furniture ALL day…. 🙁

Jack, having moved stuff many times including across several states in a move, I understand and feel your pain. In the spirit of it all, I will try to move some rockets on Saturday, very quickly. 😆

ModeratorJack – no need to make a special trip unless you really need to get away from it all. Probably should come out to fly a rocket. Pretty sure I’ll figure out how to re-load the trailer before getting it back to the launch site.
Ed W. – thanks – those tubes take up a fair amount of space even though they don’t weight that much without a motor stuck in them.May 30, 2013 at 1:12 pm #56580Jack Matthews
ModeratorJoe… Let’s consider this…
Option A – arise early Saturday morning to a bowl of oatmeal and goat bran (or something equally disgusting), and a tepid cup of Earl Grey under the watchful eye of the breakfast police,, and then immediately try to sort out how I’m going to squeeze that queen-sized box spring around that stair landing without scratching the newly-painted walls and incurring the wrath of the aforementioned constabulary OR…
Option B – arise early Saturday morning, make my excuses and a quick get-a-way, hit Big City for a gut-busting egg, cheddar, and carnitas burrito to-go, Starbucks for a giant mocha,,, followed by a glorious morning drive out on the prairie… (mattress-moving be d**ned,,, or at least delayed)..
Tough choice,,, but I choose B. See you Saturday morning. I assume that storage container is unlocked?

ModeratorOption A is more bearable if you substitute Cream of Wheat. 🙂 I helped a friend get his box springs down the stairs also. We invested in a couple sheets of 3/8 drywall to put up so we didn’t gouge the actual drywall.
