It is with deep regret that we must announce the cancellation of NCR’s scheduled launch for April 4-5, 2020. This probably should not come as a surprise. We were hoping for the best. However, Colorado has imposed restrictions limiting gatherings of no more than 10 people, closing all non-essential businesses, and restricting general activities. It is uncertain when Colorado will remove these restrictions. In addition, the NAR and Tripoli have also placed restrictions around launches. We made this cancellation decision under much deliberation and decided to provide members as much notice as possible to allow you to change or cancel your personal plans around our scheduled April launch. We urge all of you to follow your local guidelines to stay safe during this pandemic, and we look forward to launching with you again after the crisis has been resolved. Stay healthy and safe.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
